What sport taught me about belief and what it really means to perform when it counts
In sport, no one waits for confidence and neither should you
I help leaders and teams build meaningful, high-performing cultures inspired by the principles of elite sport.
“Everyone can achieve. The difference is belief!”
I founded Lessons from the Touchline to explore what sport really teaches us about performance, confidence and belief.
After two decades working inside elite sport, I saw that the same principles that drive world-class performance — focus, discipline, resilience — are the ones that help people live and lead with purpose. The difference lies not in talent, but in mindset.
That legacy continues in The Momentum Academy, where I bring those lessons beyond the game — helping people translate the psychology of performance into everyday life.
My work now centres on the deeper question of confidence: how it’s built, how it breaks, and how we rebuild it again. Whether through my writing, podcast or speaking, my goal is to help people find belief that lasts longer than motivation, and to perform — in life and in work — with clarity, purpose and self-trust.
“After 20 years working alongside elite athletes, I’ve learned what it truly takes to build unshakeable confidence, focus and momentum. I created these courses to share everything I’ve learned—so you can harness that winning mindset and achieve your goals, no matter what area of life you’re in.”
Focus. Believe. Achieve.
